Comments:
From a private seller who wanted more for this machine than I was willing to pay. He has it set up on a trailer with a gas motor drive. It appears the machine was originally line belt run. The same machine is pictured on p. 54 of Batory's book from the 1917 catalog. Best as I can tell, this machine could be used to make T&G flooring in one operation, or large quantities of molding. The two side head spindles were adjustable vertically and horizontally and could tilt up to 22.5 degrees. These looked to be square-head, 4-knife and about 5" on each face.
