SAW:
Sprunger Bros, Inc. Model 'E' 8" tilt arbor bench saw.
S/N 28474
Built in 1955 at the Topeka Indiana factory.
Original factory miter gauge, fence, two extension wings and stand.
The extension wings are 6"x16" each and made of stamped steel.
The pegboard on the stand was added by the original owner, to collect chips.

MOTOR:
Oak Capacitor Motor manufactured by Oak Electric Motors Inc. in Burr Oak Michigan.
1/2hp, 7.0A, 110V, 60cy, 1725rpm, double 5/8" shafts, 4-1/2" pulley
S/N 11-F, M/N CB-50-2__500

BACKGROUND:
The previous owner (Jay Martin of Sandusky Ohio) contacted me, via email.
He found my name associated with Sprunger machines on the Mothership.
We did the exchange (saw for $50) at the Tony Packo's Cafe parking lot in Toledo Ohio on 12Aug2006.
Jay also gave me a written history of the saw:
-Originally given to his grandfather (Kenneth V. Martin of Elyria Ohio) as a gift around 1955 (coincides with the built date).
-Later given to his father (Jack Martin of Elyria Ohio).
-And in the 1990s Jay received it from his father.

UPDATE-09/12/2015: Donated restored saw to the Topeka (Indiana) Historical Society and delivered it to the museum located in the former railroad depot.
