I must tell you that I was pleasantly surprised when I answered a local ad on the "Craigs List" about a Walker Turner 6" jointer and got out to his house about an hour away to find this! I had been keeping an eye out for 8" jointer and got lucky to stumble across this one. It seems to be in relatively good shape and came with a well made shop made stand. The bed is 49" long and has a 4 knife cutterhead. The motor that is on it now will need to be replaced as it has a short in it. This is defintely a canidate for a restoration and will takes its place in line of a couple of other pieces waiting for the same. If anyone has any suggestions on the restore or information on the history, it would be greatly appreciated.
