I just brought this one home which I found thru a local Craigslist. The post was for a Delta wood lathe on cast iron legs with a motor, $50.00 I was the first in line this time (that's rare!) The best part is that he was local enough for me to pick up after work! The lathe has a 1"-8 tpi and a morse taper #2. This lathe was completely torn down, sandblasted and refinshed. I have slightly modified the lathe to update it here and there. The headstock is now using modern oil seals and I upgraded the tool banjo with one from a newer 12" Delta lathe. This banjo is the better cam lock design and makes turning a lot nicer. All that is left now is to replace the wooden tops and build the weight box under the lower shelf.
