The motor is original. It's 2 h.p., 115v/230v, 32a/16a, made by Brown-Brockmeyer.

Doug Rewerts has determined this to be a 1937-38 model. Defining features are: 3 hump bolt on gear box, waffle pattern table, cast iron gear box, steel pointer, tall hex nuts, aluminum base, no serial number, & 3/8" bearing cap. Features specifically pointing to 1937 are: large bushing on the a-19 gear shaft and an oiler on the a-15 gear shaft.

I hope to return it to an eye pleasing state in the near future.
