Found on ebay. Was sold by a former cabinet maker/industrial arts teacher. He got it from the Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. It was taken to salem New Hampshire where it lived in his garage unassembled and unusedfor many years. Then it moved back to his parents house in Stoughton MA where it lived until the day that I came to pick it up. Now it is in my garage more assembled than it has been in over 20 years. I will probably use a variable frequency drive with a 3hp AC motor. Everything on this machine is ready to go even the bearings still had oil in them and the head stock pulley turned freely with warm weather. All tooling is original as is all hardware. I know it's blasphemy to use an up to date electrical system but I want the lathe to be fully functional and don't have the counter shaft or line shaft to make it go.
