This is an example of an early Crescent 26 x 8-inch surfacer. This one was made before 1916 - sometime between 1913 and 1916, Crescent re-enginered this planer to be variable feed and this model is before the new design

The photos on this machine were taken from an e-bay auction in May of 2003. The auction ended with a high bid of $255.00 but did not sell due to the reserve not being met.
