I bought this grinder about 15 years ago. I disassembled, cleaned parts, cleaned and repacked bearings and painted. Sorry about blue wraparound, stippled chrome was too far gone and I had the blue paint. This is my go-to grinder in the shop, runs smoothly, lights in guards work. I mounted it on a Bel-saw base. Was missing eye guards when I bought it but I wear safety glasses. I assume the 48 in its short serial number stood for 1948 which seems about right. I never saw another except on this site.
