I got this drill press off FB Marketplace. The guy had bought the contents of a storage unit. It had been in storage about 25 years. I don't know anything more of its history. I tested runout at the spindle and it is 1/2 of one thousandths. Runout measured at the chuck is 2.5 thousandths. This was my first restoration and I really like preserving the old paint. Frank Lee from the Garage Journal told me "The paint is only original once". The only thing I had to paint was the band on the motor.
