1953 Craftsman 18” Bandsaw, made by Parks and introduced in 1949. Running a 1 HP 1750 RPM 230 volts with a 2” pulley at the motor and a 7” at the saw. The saw was originally set up with a jack shaft configuration to cut metal (2” to 12” to 2” to 7” for metal and 7” to 7” to 2” to 7” for wood) shown in last picture but removed and stored away during restoration.

This saw was offered by Sears from 1949 to 1973. In 1957 the saw was revised with a gear down box to cut metal and two table miter slots
