This machine was just donated to the Gympie Woodworks Museum. I am searching for any information anyone may have on it. My internet searches have turned up almost nothing. Does anyone out there have any information about this machine that I can use to share with the public visitors who come to our museum? All I know so far is that it was made circa 1905/1910 in Germany. I understand how it works as the donator ran me through its operation. I know that the Ulmia company went insolvent in 1997 so may have lost information at that point. Thats about it though.
I think it is a very cool machine and I would like to do it justice by finding out all I can.
