This floor grinder is being sold as part of a business liquidation auction of a long-established cabinet making shop located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. From the "Rae Bros" manufacturer name in the casting, this unit can be dated in the 1914 - 1918 time period before they changed name to Rae Machine Tool Works. Rae is a well-known manufacturer of bench vises, but there is not too much left of any other type of equipment that they manufactured, so am uploading photos of this rare example.
