Purchased from an estate. It was dirty, had lots of dried oil on it, and the tires were completely rotted. It came with a band, but I removed it to remove the tires, since the band was imprinted, and adhered to the tires. I had to destroy the drive pulley, to get it off, which was necessary for removing the sheet metal, for cleaning. The wheels run on plain bronze bearings. Fortunately, it was kept well-oiled.
I've cleaned, and oiled it. I'm leaving the finish original. It didn't come with a motor, so I'm searching for a period-correct, 1/3 hp, 1750 rpm motor, as well as tires, and a 4-inch drive pulley. The input shaft is 11/16", which appears to be an obsolete hub size for AK-type, fractional hp pulleys. I've read that these 3-wheelers require an extra-thin, .012 thick band, due to the small 6-inch diameter of the wheels. The factory band was definitely that thin.
