This machine was originally imported by Mahogany Masterpieces who later went bankrupt. I bought it from the original owner. It came with a single phase motor.Europeans don’t do well with single phase and motor, ran hot and was weak. I replaced it with a new 3 phase 4 hp motor from Graule and night and day difference with the new motor.
These are very accurate saws with linear bearings and very positive stops for adjusting for angle and compound angle cuts. It can be returned to 90 without checking for square. Another nice feature because of the motor design with a 350mm blade this saw cuts 5 1/4” deep. This is the smaller saw of the series. It has a nice spring retraction device and also a hydraulic dampener to prevent overfeeding.
