I bought this original condition Craftsman Model 150 bench model drill press off of FB Marketplace for $50. The Retired Police Officer I got it from bought it off the original owner who was well into his late 80's for $35. This guy was selling off all his possessions and moving down to Costa Rica reportedly. Original paint on DP and it was in super unmolested condition seeing VERY little run time over the years. Taken all apart and deep cleaned and power washed inside head casting. The original charcoal paint condition and preserved, table and column polished out to bright metal and all moving internal parts lubed up in Super Lube synthetic grease. New V-belt, 8' cord and metal electrical box. The toggle switch was an old Craftsman motor switch I had on hand that was dated 5/1959. The motor that was on this DP was an old 1/3-HP washing machine motor that did not fit correctly at all so I installed a 1980's vintage 1/2-HP 1,725rpm motor on it I had "in stock" in my shop that came off another machine I acquired in the San Antonio area near Lackland AFB years ago.
Update Note: I sold this drill press back to the retired Police Officer I bought it from after the clean up restoration.
