What fun to be entering the first--and we hope not last--machine manufactured by this company. This shaper appeared at auction in Alberta Canada in 2017 and I was able to acquire it and received crucial help in the delivery department through some fortuitous circumstances. It made the 1000 mile journey in the back of a friend's pickup truck. No issues at the border.
The shaper is powered by a Siemens-Schuckert two-speed three-phase motor. The fence is a work of art. An elegant mixture of complexity and simplicity. Over-engineered might be an apt descriptor. I don't know the year it was manufactured but assume Postwar. The design of this shaper dates to the 1930s. The shop for this machine will (finally) be built this Summer.
