Here's one that I've held onto until I had time to do my best restoration effort. So this is it, such as it is...
It has a 2HP motor from a Unisaw. Hardly necessary, but it's what I had, so it's what I used. I used the smallest sheave that I could find on the motor to control the speed as it is a table saw motor at 3450 RPM. The speed control also allows more control than I need without even using the transmission. The Variable Frequency Drive also brings the motor on in a soft start and to a quick stop and allows upper speed limits so it’s a really nice upgrade and a way to use up old three phase motors..
