I bought this machine in April 2003 through the OWWM classifieds for $450. It is extremely heavy built, weighing in at 1250lbs. The motor is a 5HP GE induction with a patent date of 1916. In the first picture, the motor is setting on the mortising table for shipping purposes. The mortising table is made of wood.
