I was recently gifted this machine by my father-in-law. He bought in a lot of other tools 20+ years ago and never used it. It has been sitting in his shop unused. I cleaned all of the dirt dobbers nests off of it and am trying to get it running. I have to some minor wiring repairs and hook up a power switch and it should be good to go. Can anyone help me in findind out more information about it. It would also be great if I could find parts and/or an owner's manual. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. I am new to woodworking, but eager to learn as much as I can so I get started on some projects.
Thanks in advance!!!

Admin Note:
This lathe was originally a Walker-Turner machine and was acquired by Delta/Rockwell when they bought Walker-Turner in 1956. As a Walker-Turner product the lathe had the model number L1152.

Interestingly enough it does not appear that Delta/Rockwell produced the lathe as a Delta product until 1959. Even more interesting was that at this time Delta/Rockwell had their No. 46-400 12" Deluxe Lathe as well as their No. 1460 12" Standard Wood Lathe. I would suspect that the addition of the gap bed was what led to Delta/Rockwell continuing with the production of this lathe.

As pictured this lathe had a variable speed drive. In mid-1963 the lathe was re-designed By Delta/Rockwell and re-released as their Model No. 46-200 4-Speed Model and Model No. 46-525 Variable-Speed Model.

Shortly there after (1964 or 1965) the Model No. 1460 (CBL castings) was dropped.
