This unit was originally manufactured for the Air Force, and Crescent made a number of these specifically for them. The ''High Neck'' feature increased the cutting height capacity from 16'' to 23'' and raised the overall height to just about 9'. Blade length is 21' 8''. A 5 hp three phase motor powers this saw and weight shows at 1,835 lbs. I forgot to take before photos prior to disassembly, cleaning and painting, but it was rather dirty as it had been in a warehouse for several years. It was in nice shape mechanically and only needed some new nuts and bolts and an upgraded set of Paddock upper and lower guides. All of the badges are original except the Crescent logo on front of which I had a replica made. Research seems to indicate I am the third owner and I believe this saw was first located at a local Air Force base.
