Originally lineshaft driven surface grinder. I don’t know the date of manufacture, but it is a model No 3, setup for wet grinding, and was used by a toolmaker at the Chrysler Belvidere plant in Illinois. While not a large grinder, it has a 12” wheel and weighs over 2000 Lbs. At some point it was retrofitted with electric motors for the table and spindle.
