Up for sale is an amazing machine, it’s a 1949 Buss 88 TWO Head 40” WIDE Planer.
This machine Joints the underside of your board, while at the same time planing the top side of the board to your desired thickness. This can handle boards UP TO 40” Wide and 8” Thick.
A 25 HP motor runs the Top Cutter Head and another 20 HP motor runs the Bottom Cutter Head.
The multiple Feed & Anti-Kickback Rollers are run by 30 HP motor.
The height adjustment for the bed is run by a separate 3 HP motor.
All 3 Phase 480 volts
