Comments:
Spotted it in a classified ad. The previous owner bought it about 1974 from Portland, OR, general contractor, Donald M. Drake Company. He used it to resaw the shakes and shingles he installed on the home he built nestled (hidden) in the mountains above the Chehalem Valley.

Saw was painted a red/orange prior to or by Drake. Not currently running, motor needs a bit of work, wheel and guide bearings feel smooth, saw needs new tires but is otherwise complete. Plan on completely disassembling, cleaning and repainting - maybe a deep maroon.

My Delta 14" band saw looks puny by comparison - I think I'll start calling this big guy Ahnold. Oh yes, price? How's $100 sound?

Comments: After power washing. Most of the orange/red came off along with a fair bit of grime, cobwebs and pine needles.
