Acquired 1994, ($800) from buyer at an auction from H.S. Industrial Arts program. Believed school acquired from gov't auction - brass tag on column is stamped US Property Picatinny Arsenal w/ a property book #. When stripping the column and after removal of the Clausing badges (aluminum) there were remnants of cast in "JOHANSSON" Also - brass tag on front pulley cover is the Black/Red version - Atlas/Clausing. No motor - originally wired for 240v

Completely rebuilt 2024.
All new bearings, felts, belts, oil seal, paint, OEM Sorbothane motor mounts, NOS X feed nut, brand new Clausing supplied Y feed nut ($$$), etc.
Original bearings were all Fafnir except for lower two spindle bearings that were New Departure bearings.
Head quill feed gear sets are all steel,
Spindle tension adj - 1 screw only. (w/nylon shoe, spring and set screw)
Spindle drive plate is steel.
Spindle uses knurled nut (w/ 2 lock screws) with flanged/captured draw bar. Auto ejects collets.
3/4 hp Dayton motor, (wired for 120v)
Original Furnas Fwd/Rev drum switch and original AB Manual Starter Push Button Switch (609AAWA)
3 axis DRO plus Quill DRO, tach, & electronic edge finder,
X axis power feed,

Fabricated 5" riser to utilize ER32 collets, dividing head & rotary table.
Added custom mounts for light and DRO tablet
When stripping paint - very very little filler was found anywhere.
Original wood floor inside cabinet and original wood collet rack on door.
4" Precision Tool / Homgee vise. Kipp adjustable quill lock handle, custom 3D printed quill DRO bracket.
ER-32 collet system, Touch DRO system w/ capacitive scales.
