Purchased this machine in 2020; previous owner said that his grandfather was the original machine owner.

Machine matches the "new" lathe in the 1934 catalog ( http://www.vintagemachinery.org/pubs/detail.aspx?id=26770 ).

The 1935 and newer catalogs show a cast gear cover and different foot style.
