This machine came from Robert who is part of a Hutterites community that run a wood working shop about 30 minutes north of Billings Montana in March of 2024. This machine was purchased as part of a lot of machines they bought and this jointer was put into storage afterward. It didn't run at the time and they never used it. It looks like the cutter head has been replaced as the back mount has been shortened. The front babbitt bearing has been replaced at some point as it looks like it is brand new. The back babbitt bearing is in great condition but shows the coloring that comes from longer use. In 2024 the jointer was refurbished with fresh paint, new blades(75 in/lbs torque), dust collection, motor mount, and mobile base system. All the modifications were attached to the mobile base or used existing mounts from the original machine.
