Tired of seeing the "shopsmith grey" and seeing many custom restorations in brilliant colors, I went with a darker red and love it.

Brief known history of the machine is that this was originally owned by my wife's Grandfather who passed it down to my Father-in-law, who passed it down to me. After restoring it, we shared photos with her Grandfather who is now at the time of writing in his late 90s!

The stand is not very well made but looks to be original. It was common to get a kit and build your own table.

Motor is also an original Magna-supplied A.O.Smith 1/2HP that I have also since restored and can be found on the photo index.
