I found this with a Skil 100 electric plane that I bought. If a Skil 100 is rare, I would guess this is rarer by a factor of 10, as I cannot find anything on the internet about this. I have laid out all the parts that were in the cardboard box, as well as loose parts in the Skil 100 box that looked like they belonged to the sharpener kit. The two rectangular very coarse stones above the grinding wheel appear to be for grading the grinding wheel. The screwdriver slotted nut fits in the grinding stone, but there must be a arbor that threads into the nut. There were no instructions.
The image I have attached is from a 1967 Skil Industrial Tools catalog from this site. I have found this on three different catalogs, but never with a picture. This references enclosed instructions that shows how to build a stand to operate this sharpener.
I am really hoping that somebody has a known complete one so we can verify and document the contents. Also, I would like to find the instructions so they can be posted on this site.
