This is a Clarke floor edger. It is used to sand wood floors around the edge of a room to pick up the strip around the circumference of the room that the main floor sander leaves. I purchased this in 2023 in an online auction. Clarke was a division of Studebaker in the '60's. This is a 115 volt, 15 amp AC-DC machine. Weighs about 30 lbs.

Clarke is now owned by American Sanding, the current machine still looks the same (great designs are timeless), and is called the Super 7R.

This particular one runs like new and sounds great.
