I aquired this drill press on the Offer-up app. It was shipped to me in Oakland, Ca. from Cincinnati, Ohio. The seller had recently purchased a house and this was one of the items left behind. The seller had no information about the drill or the previous owner. I received the Gem-King in Late July (2024). Aside from turning it on (runs incredibly smooth), I have done nothing to it at all. I havent even cleaned it. I paid $75 and all I received is what is in the pictures. I know absolutely nothing about this drill press or the manufacturer other than what is posted in the manufacturere's index. Aside from a few obvious components, the drill press if made of cast aluminum and weighs less than 18 lbs. If anyone has any information at all, I would be thankful. I would love to know if this is the original motor, the year it was made, etc. I intend to restore it to a "like new" condition if at all possible. Due to California's ever increasing restrictions, I have been unable to receive paint in this color, as I have tried unsucessfully for a few other projects.
I took the photos with my Iphone a couple of evenings ago.

Apart from a thorough cleaning, rust removal, lubrication, possible paint touch-up, and possibly a different motor, this should be ready to help me out with a few delicate/light duty tasks from time to time.
