My neighbor mentioned that a friend of his became the new owner of two old Deltas. This shaper seems to be complete except for the front belt guard. I forgot to write down the serial number, but I do remembered it was 4-xxxx. It has the original wooden fence and the motor has the F/R switch in the motor. I wouldn't mind having this machine to restore it to its former glory.
Admin Note: This model shaper was first introduced by Delta in 1936. The 1 HP motor and No. 132 switch shown on this particular machine was made an option in 1938. This
machine also has a cast iron belt cover that was later changed to sheet metal.
