Comments:

Most of what looked like rust was actually dried oil and dirt. Sump oil was nearly clear and very little wear on machine. Some signs of paint touch up with a brush and a broken bolt in the bull gear.
Based on the serial number it would appear to be one of the first made with the built in oil pump. So far I have not been able to determine a build date. Purchased in west central Illinois.
