This fence intended for a spindle moulder was found mounted to a machine manufactured by Valois & Valois, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is unknown how that came about, but information from the seller was that this was part of the original configuration and was not an after-market or scavenged item installation. This is supported by the fact that both the fence and spindle moulder appear to be in original and identically matching paint. So it appears that Valois & Valois may have had a business agreement with WACO for supply of parts.

The fence is a sophisticated design for its vintage, with adjustable sliding capability for the fences fore & aft, side to side, and including micro-adjust knobs. Very heavy solid iron castings - weight is over 75 lbs.

Sellers info was that the machine was origianlly purchased new 65 years ago (1959) but |I suspect it to be even older, potentiall from the late 1940s.
