Comments:
I know very little about this machine, it is in a warehouse that I am now renting, and the Landlord gave it me and told me to do with it whatever I wanted. This machine was either built for, or acquired by the U.S. Navy as some of the data plates have a Navy anchor stamped on them. The 3-phase saw motor is marked as 15HP 3520RPM. The Conveyor feed-drive motor (3 phase) is marked as HP: cont 40 (?) and has multiple rpm listings. it has an Hours operation meter (aftermarket ?) on the side of the machine that reads 2985.8 . An interesting little thing on this machine is that it has been painted "Navy Gray" multiple times and on the back side of the saw motor housing arm someone has painted with great care and multiple colors (dark blue and yellow) the name "Ben". This paint is raised, and it appears to me that the name has been repainted each time the machine itself got a coat. I suspect they had named this machine and someone loved it very much. -Sean House
