I have owned the American Motor Carriage CO run-about for over 25 years - bought it at a swap meet in San Diego and it was purported to have a Woolery engine but I found it o read on an early Fairmont 2-stroke. Much of the early data was incorrectly reported in a Antique Automobiles Periodical issue 39.1 Jan Feb 1975. My research on the car indicated the engine employed initially was a single cylinder Beilfuss Motor Co. of Lansing MI it is a 4-strok having an atmospheric intake valve. AMCC later also tried a two cylinder Beilfuss.
