Purchased in 1994 in Warren, MI from a woman selling off her ex-husband’s tools. I didn't know anything about it at the time, just thought it was sort of cool looking. Unlike the other Hammond routers pictured here in the OWWM archives, this unit is direct drive as opposed to belt driven.
Motor Mfr. is Dumore of Racine, WI. Motor operates on 220 volts AC or DC power.
No Load RPM = 18,000, Full Load RPM = 8,000
Side note: I classified this machine as "Wood Working" only because I felt it's present day usage would be such. The machine was originally used in the printing industry to route lead (metal) type.
