I'm hoping that some of you may help me with make/model and any historical info about this drill press. I inherited this from my grandfather, who passed in 1987, and this tool is part of my earliest memories working with him in his basement shop. I also inherited his 1936 table saw and 4" jointer, both Craftsman. All of these tools still work, and I still use them. Everything is original, to the best of my knowledge, except for the belt and the power cord which I replaced for safety (the original cord had a braided cloth jacket!). Anything you could share about this, including rarity/value/history/etc. would be most appreciated, although I have zero intention of ever selling it ... I hope to use it until I'm no longer able and then pass it down to the next in my line. Thanks, Cheers !
