Made a trip to Kansas City to pick this up. Its last home was a cabinet shop. No other history known. I would date it between 1915 and 1923. This is base on a motor patent date of 1915 and the fact that after 1924 this model does not show up in the catalogs. This jointer had a hard life. At some point the outfeed table was dropped. As a result the elevation raising screw was slightly bent, one of the inclined plane adjusting ramps had an ear broken and two of the table carrier adjusting bosses were broken. Also the machine was apparently run with oil. The pulley side bearings showed evidence of overheating and the cutter head was not parallel to the table mounting surfaces.

This shows the table adjustment ramps. Also the short black knobs allow the tables to slide back for knife adjustment. The hole in the fence is for a hold down.

I added this decal to my tool closet door. I think it might have been on some doors.

The motor is a 145lb 3hp beast. If you look closely you can see the end of the cutter head shaft is threaded, probably for a flat belt pulley combination.
