I picked this up at a derelict sawmill in Addison, MI in the Fall of 2020. The new owner of the property was clearing out. Lots of cool machinery there. Most was taken by old machine enthusiasts. A gaining machine cuts grooves across the grain of timbers. This machine would have been useful for companies making large structural work out of lumber, especially railcar frames, etc.
