Having kept a previous Wadkin CK that I had purchased for parts, I was on the lookout for another "parts" machine.
This machine showed up for sale in 2018 - one of four radial arm saws the seller had.
It had sat outdoors for too long and was heavily rusted - a most suitable machine for parts.
The MEM On/Off pushbutton box has been refurbished and now adorns another of my machines.
The original switchgear (in a cabinet below the table) is refurbished and now powers a Wadkin CK saw in Auckland, New Zealand.
art of the column that supports the arm has gone to replace a broken part in a Wadkin CK saw in Melbourne, Australia.
Remarkably, after a year of storage indoors, I wired up the motor and it ran !!! They don't make 'em like that anymore.

This is a length of 1/2" steel rod that runs parallel to the arm (for stops). Note the depth of rust.

Wadkin Ltd "tin" tag. The test number indicates it was tested in 1946.
