A friend and I purchased a number of machines from auction, this one was in the building, but not included in the auction... the auctioneer had given it to the scrapper after deciding it had no value. The executor of the estate showed the lathe to my friend and I, and helped facilitate purchasing it from the scrapper. I hope to restore it some day, it has a well fitted motor and is complete save for the two jacks for when the bed is fully extended, and additional gears.
