I am getting a bit ahead of myself here as this machine is still (11/30/2023) in Warren Michigan, but I am confident that it will start to make its way toward me over the course of the next few months thanks to the generous offices of several OWWMers. The machine is badged Fay & Egan but the design dates to W.R. Fox starting in the 1880s (?) Fay & Egan took over the Fox woodworking equipment in 1915. One thing I find especially interesting about this machine is the pretty clear lineage from this 1880s design to the Morsø/Jyden/Hansen miter choppers all manufactured in Denmark. Morsø claims to have been the first in 1911:

There is also an Australian variant of this design sold by Gilbro in Melbourne.
