I purchased this planer in March of 2008 from local machine shop that bought and sold machines on occasion. He purchased the machine at an auction when they closed the woodworking program at a local high school. The machine had been repainted but otherwise in high school shop condition. Got machine running in 2019. Replaced very dull knives with new knives, changed oil in gear box, and tuned up per Bob Vaughan video for planer setup. This thing runs like a dream.
