I bought this lathe from fellow OWWM'er Jeff Delashmit, and built a stand after modifying a plan I found on the internet. The motor is a 1/2 hp Dayton that I traded for with Eric Lavelle. The toolrest is off of Ebay, but is too tall--I'll have to modify it or find a shorter one.
The machine has ball bearings, and was really only missing the cover of the outboard part of the headstock, plus the toolrest. Everything operates smoothly. The paint is in very good shape, with only a few blemishes, so I'm not going to repaint it. I used some steel wool to get some light rust off of the bed, but that's all the cleanup it required. This is the only gray machine I have.:)
