This 14” dp220 came from Chicago, and then to southern Illinois some years ago. The man that I bought it from said it was his grandfather’s, who lived in Chicago, and he inherited it, but never used it. I bought it for $100, in January 2023 The step pully on the front was badly damaged, had chunks broken away from several of the belt grooves. It was missing the thumb screw on the quill handle, but other than that, it was in good condition. I disassembled everything, other than removing the bearings, which seemed to be smooth and quiet. I cleaned up all the parts, and primed and painted it. The drill table had only a couple small and shallow holes in it. It really didn’t have the “arc of shame”. It had the original motor and pull rod for the on off function. I found an original delta retirement light for it, and also found an original thumb screw fit the handle. It didn’t have a nice delta badge on the front belt cover, but I found a replica in a vinyl sticker. I’m still watching for a nice Delta Milwaukee alum badge for it. I use this more than my 17” floor model now.
