I saved a nice big vise from my buddy’s scrap pile. It is made by American Scale Co, K.C. MO, Red Seal No 55. Has 5-1/2” wide jaws. It had a broken screw so I just made one, 15/16”-4 TPI. The only thing I could find on American Scale Co was that they went out of business around 1960.
