Picked this jointer up in 1995 for free when a school district that I worked for cleaned out a storage area and were going to scrap it. Hadn't been used for many years. Had a bad bearing. Replaced the bearing and installed a newer 110/220 v single phase 3450 rpm motor. Added a larger 3/8" steel plate to the fence. Purchased and installed a new set of knives. Works very well.
