I picked this plane up on August 26th 2023 for a decent price. I am pretty much sold on Porter Cable products and this is now my third one. The box it came with is original, but it has a couple of burn holes in it from what looks like welding close by. Fortunately, it did not impact the plane itself, or the Model 5014 grinder attachment that it came with. The plane powers on fine and is quite powerful. It comes with two cutters and the wrenches to replace the cutter. All it is missing is the grinding stone for the grinding attachment. I will be on the lookout for one. So far, this is an earlier example from what I have seen thus far. Not sure of the date, so I am just guesstimating.
