I discovered OWWM from a google search on Band Saw Fence, landing on Roger Van Maren's cool design design and write up in the FAQ area. http://www.owwm.com/files/PDF/FAQ/BandSawFence1.pdf It was just what I had been looking for.
I simplified it a bit, foregoing the cam clamp, and using aluminum for the rail. The fence itself is aluminum U channel with a wood infill.
I am really pleased with the result. Very solid. and positive action.
