This was a marketplace find. Same old story, Grandpa passed away kids selling out the equipment. It didn’t have the original tailstock, and this one wouldn’t fit up in between the carriage before the tailstock contacted the felt wipers. What was interesting is that this tail stock has almost twice the length of a normal quill of an atlas. I have a spare tailstock, but I think I will also mill out the edges of the tailstock, so it can fit up in between the carriage. If anybody recognizes what this tailstock is off, please comment.
